Philippe has been invited to become a faculty member at the Talent Music Master Courses in Brescia, Italy from October 2017 on.


Belgian pianist Philippe Raskin is the artistic director of the César Franck International Piano Competition (Brussels) and the “Resonances Musique de Chambre” Festival (France) from 2017. His performances have been illustrated as a “model of radiant authority (...), solar, generous, committed and under control (MDM, La Libre Belgique) and he plays “with an impressive confidence” (JK, Mundo Clasico). Having studied at the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel (Brussels) and Escuela Superior de Musica Reina Sofia (Madrid) with renowned pedagogues such as Dmitry Bashkirov, Jean-Claude Vanden Eynden, and Emanuel Krasovsky, Philippe has been a prizewinner at many international competitions. He has also performed many recitals, as part of chamber groups and as a soloist with orchestras all over the world and is invited regularly to give masterclasses and be part of the jury in several international piano competitions.
